Ken’s Labyrinth Download and Gameplay (Dos 1993)

Ken’s Labyrinth is a cult classic first-person shooter made by Ken Silverman as a teenager. In this post, you can get a free Ken’s Labyrinth download, watch a gameplay video, and learn more about the game. It may not be an impressive title, but it shows the potential of a young person who would go on to create the amazing engine used in Duke Nukem 3D.

About Ken’s Labyrinth

Playing this game is very similar to Wolfenstein 3D, as the engine is nearly identical. What makes it different, for better or worse, are its somewhat futuristic setting and the truly terrible graphics. Moving around also seems a bit clunky and awkward, even for a Dos game. It does provide a decent story for its time and a bit of a challenge in later levels.

Here’s an example of Ken’s Labyrinth gameplay.

The story behind this game is simple. You are trying to escape from the underground labyrinth you are and save your pet dog and the world at the same time. It may not be the best game, especially when compared to titles that came out around the same time (i.e. Doom), but it is worth a play for hardcore fans of the genre or retro gaming.
