The game adds an extra element here, emergencies. They will pop up periodically as blue light notification icons near the bottom of the game screen. If you can complete them, the cash bonuses will make it worth your while. However, if you fail, the patients you did not manage to cure will die, increasing your death count and denting your reputation.
Building your hospital
To begin, build your main diagnostic and treatment areas (GP’s Office, General Diagnostics, Psychiatric, Pharmacy, Toilets, Staff Room, etc.) From there, you can purchase the small building on the land screen to house your Research Department.
Furnish the corridor with plenty of seating, radiators, a few drink machines, and a reception desk. Hire the necessary staff to handle the rooms that you have and get ready to play Theme Hospital level 3!
During your gameplay, you will eventually need a Ward and Operating Theater, which you can build near each other in a separate building when you have the finances. Also, more diagnostic and treatment areas will be discovered by the Research Department, including X-Ray, Slack Tongue Clinic, and Fracture Clinic. Build them as you can when they become available.
